Job Overview

We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to manage end-to-end import, logistics, supply chain, and domestic delivery operations. The role will involve close coordination with Accounts, Sales, freight partners, and customs agents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage imports, freight coordination, shipping lines, customs clearance, and duty payments.

- Handle Bill of Entry (BOE), knock-offs, and import documentation.

- Coordinate with Accounts for LCs, bank documentation, and duty payments.

- Manage domestic freight partners, negotiate rates, and verify logistics charges.

- Coordinate with Sales on stock availability, lead times, and delivery updates.

- Monitor inventory movement and ensure timely deliveries.

- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.





- Supervise and mentor the Junior Operations Associate.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Import/Export.

- Robust knowledge of customs clearance, BOE, import documentation, and duty structures.

- Experience working with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics partners.

- Good understanding of LCs, bank documentation, and operational costs.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.

- Experience in technology, electronics, or luxury goods logistics is preferred.

- Based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata.
