PGT Mathematics Teacher

Bharathidhasanar Group of Schools is looking for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Mathematics to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to prepare students for Board Examinations.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics for Grades XI & XII as per the prescribed curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging, concept-based, and application-oriented lessons.
Prepare students effectively for Board Examinations and competitive examinations.
Develop students' problem-solving, logical reasoning, analytical, and mathematical skills.
Explain complex mathematical concepts using simple and effective teaching methods.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and assessment materials.
Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
Use smart-class resources, digital tools, mathematical applications, and innovative teaching methodologies.
Encourage students to apply Mathematics to real-life situations.
Provide additional academic support and mentoring to students who require assistance.
Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and assessment reports.




Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress.
Participate actively in school events, academic activities, meetings, and professional development programmes.
Collaborate with colleagues and school management to maintain high academic standards.

Eligibility
M.Sc. / M.A. Mathematics or equivalent qualification
B.Ed. is mandatory
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
Experience teaching CBSE/Matriculation higher secondary classes will be an advantage.
Strong numerical ability and excellent problem-solving skills.
Valuable communication, classroom management, and student-engagement skills.
