Job Description – Serology Technician

Position: Serology Technician
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (In-Hand)
Shift: Rotational Shifts
Department: Serology

Key Responsibilities
Perform HIV and other serological/immunological tests using automated laboratory analyzers.
Handle sample processing, loading, testing, and result verification as per SOPs.
Operate and monitor automated serology machines and ensure smooth workflow.
Perform daily quality control checks and maintain accuracy of test results.
Follow laboratory safety, quality, infection-control, and documentation procedures.
Maintain proper records of samples, test results, QC, and machine-related activities.
Identify and report abnormal results, technical issues, or instrument errors to the concerned senior.




Ensure timely processing and reporting of samples while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Eligibility
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, MLT or a relevant field.
Experience in Serology / Immunology / HIV testing will be preferred.
Candidates with experience handling automated serology analyzers will be preferred.
Freshers with relevant qualifications may also be considered.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts is mandatory.

Salary & Advantages
₹15,000 – ₹20,000 In-Hand per month
Rotational shift allowance/advantages as applicable.
Prospect to work with General Diagnostics and gain hands-on experience in automated diagnostic testing.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
