PGT English Teacher

Bharathidhasanar Group of Schools is looking for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – English to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prepare students for Board Examinations and higher education.

Key Responsibilities
Teach English for Grades XI & XII as per the prescribed curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging, concept-based English lessons.
Develop students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking (LSRW) skills.
Prepare students effectively for Board Examinations.
Teach literature, grammar, vocabulary, writing skills, and language usage.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and assessment materials.
Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
Encourage critical thinking, creativity, communication, and analytical skills.
Use smart-class resources, digital tools, and creative teaching methodologies.
Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and assessment reports.
Mentor students and provide additional academic support where required.
Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress.




Participate in school events, academic activities, meetings, and professional development programmes.
Collaborate with colleagues and school management to maintain high academic standards.

Eligibility
M.A. / M.A. English or equivalent qualification
B.Ed. is mandatory
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
Experience teaching CBSE/Matriculation higher secondary classes will be an advantage.
Strong English communication and presentation skills.
Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
Experience in Board Examination preparation is preferred.
