Educational Qualification
Master's Degree (M.A.) in Economics
Minimum 55% marks (or as prescribed by the recruiting authority/university).
Candidates belonging to reserved categories may receive relaxation as per government rules.
B.Ed. (preferred in some private institutions, though not mandatory for many PU colleges).
NET/SLET/Ph.D. is generally not required for PUC lecturers, but can be an added advantage.
Valuable communication skills in English and Kannada.
Ability to teach both 1st PUC and 2nd PUC Economics as per the Karnataka State Board syllabus.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
