Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Slitting Machine Helper / Setter to support slitting machine operations and assist in machine setup for production. This role is ideal for Diploma/ITI graduates who are eager to build a career in sheet metal processing and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in setting up the slitting machine as per production requirements.
Support the machine operator during tool changing, knife assembly, and setup activities.
Load and unload coils using secure material handling practices.
Measure and verify slit widths using measuring instruments.
Ensure the correct tools, spacers, and accessories are arranged before production.
Assist in routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance activities.
Maintain housekeeping and follow 5S practices in the work area.
Identify and report any machine abnormalities or quality issues to the supervisor.
Follow safety procedures and company work instructions at all times.
Work closely with operators and supervisors to achieve daily production targets.

Requirements:




Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or a related trade.
Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or sheet metal processing industry (Freshers with relevant technical qualifications are also encouraged to apply).
Skills:
Basic knowledge of machine operation and mechanical components.
Willingness to learn machine setup and production processes.
Ability to use basic measuring instruments.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Physically fit and capable of working in an industrial environment.
Work Condition: Must be willing to work in rotational shifts.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹175,000.00 - ₹225,000.00 per year
