Ø Repair, install, maintain, calibrate and inspect medical equipment and instrumentation, including life support equipment.

Ø Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment, devices and systems.

Ø To enhance patient care and safety through effective engineering application practices ensuring cost effective management.

Ø Diagnose and correct system and equipment malfunctions.

Ø Maintain documentation on current equipment inspections and equipment repairs and failures.

Ø Assist with and evaluate third party repairs.

Ø Provide technical assistance and instruction to personnel regarding equipment operation and maintenance.

Ø Carry out planned preventive maintenance, inspections, Installation,



commissions and tests in accordance with the departmental procedures.

Ø Review outcome of preventive maintenance actions and make recommendations to department staff concerning improvements.

Ø Provide mentoring to other biomedical engineers.

Ø May assist senior clinical engineers or supervisor with in-service educational programs on use of equipment.

Ø Responsible for repair and maintenance of medical equipment.

Pay: ₹10,967.00 - ₹51,207.60 per month
