Key Responsibilities
Generate accurate bills for OPD consultations, procedures, diagnostics, pharmacy, and other applicable services.
Register patients and verify patient details before billing.
Process cash, card, UPI, insurance, and other approved payment modes.
Explain bills and charges to patients and resolve basic billing-related queries.
Ensure all services provided are correctly captured in the billing system.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, reception, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments for billing requirements.
Process cancellations, refunds, discounts, and billing adjustments as per company policy.
Maintain daily billing records and ensure proper documentation.
Perform cash/collection reconciliation and submit daily reports.
Identify and rectify billing discrepancies promptly.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
Follow hospital/clinic billing policies, SOPs, and compliance requirements.




Support the accounts team during reconciliation and audits.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Graduate in any discipline; B.Com/BBA or healthcare-related qualification preferred.
1–3 years of experience in hospital/clinic/diagnostic centre billing preferred.
Valuable knowledge of OPD billing processes and payment handling.
Familiarity with hospital/medical billing software or HIS/EMR systems.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and computer applications.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle patients professionally and courteously.
Positive attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in shifts and handle busy OPD hours.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
