The Industrial Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a secure working environment by implementing safety policies, monitoring compliance, and preventing workplace accidents in industrial, construction, or manufacturing settings.

Key Responsibilities :-
Safety Management & Compliance
Implement and monitor workplace safety policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (Factory Act, OSHA standards, local safety norms)
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
Risk Assessment & Hazard Control
Identify workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments
Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions
Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Training & Awareness
Conduct safety induction programs for recent employees
Organize regular safety training, toolbox talks, and mock drills
Promote safety awareness across all levels of staff
Incident Investigation
Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions




Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective measures
Maintain records of incidents and safety performance
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain safety records, checklists, and compliance documents
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly safety reports
Ensure proper documentation for audits and inspections
Emergency Preparedness
Develop and implement emergency response plans
Coordinate fire drills and evacuation procedures
Ensure availability and maintenance of firefighting equipment
Coordination
Work closely with project, maintenance, and HR teams
Liaise with government authorities and safety auditors

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
