PGT Accountancy & Commerce Teacher

Job Summary
Bharathidhasanar Group of Schools is looking for a passionate and experienced PGT Accountancy & Commerce Teacher to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Accountancy and Commerce, preparing students for board examinations, and developing strong conceptual, analytical, and practical skills.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Accountancy and Commerce for higher secondary classes.
Prepare engaging lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
Explain accounting concepts, financial statements, taxation, business studies, and related topics clearly.
Prepare students for CBSE/State Board examinations and competitive examinations where applicable.
Conduct regular tests, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback.
Monitor students' academic progress and provide additional support to slow learners.
Use creative teaching methods, digital resources, smart classrooms, and activity-based learning.
Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, marks, and student performance reports.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events, and academic activities.




Collaborate with the academic team to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning setting.

Eligibility & Skills
Master's Degree in Commerce/Accountancy or relevant subject.
B.Ed. is mandatory.
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of Accountancy and Commerce syllabus.
Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
Ability to use technology and digital teaching resources effectively.
Strong subject knowledge with a student-centred approach.
Preference will be given to Tamil Nadu candidates.
