We are seeking a dedicated Academic Counselor with a pleasing personality and excellent interpersonal skills to guide students and parents through their academic journey. The ideal candidate will provide counseling on course selection, career paths, and academic performance while fostering a positive and supportive learning setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide academic guidance to students, helping them choose courses aligned with their interests and career aspirations.
Offer personalized counseling to support student success, motivation, and well-being.
Assist parents in setting educational goals and developing strategies for their kids in academic achievement.
Work closely with parents, teachers, and school administrators to address students’ academic needs.
Conduct virtual one-on-one counseling sessions, webinars, and group discussions on academic planning if require's.
Support students in overcoming academic challenges and developing effective study habits.
Stay updated on global educational trends, career opportunities, and university admissions processes.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Proven experience in academic counseling, preferably in an online education setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm and approachable demeanor.
Ability to engage with students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in online learning platforms and virtual communication tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to motivate students.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
