Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated DB2 Database Monitoring & Administration IT Analyst to drive the reliability, performance, and operational excellence of our enterprise database setting. This role requires a proactive technical leader who can balance hands-on database administration with strategic monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and maintain DB2 database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Lead proactive database health checks, performance tuning, capacity planning, and issue prevention activities.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve database incidents, minimizing business impact and ensuring service continuity.
Implement and enhance monitoring, alerting, automation, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
Partner closely with application, infrastructure,



and business teams to support project delivery and operational excellence.
Drive root cause analysis, documentation, and process improvements to strengthen platform stability and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security policies, and operational best practices.

Qualifications
Solid experience in DB2 database administration, monitoring, performance tuning, backup & recovery.
Hands-on expertise with database monitoring tools, automation, and production support.
Solid understanding of database security, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts.
Experience supporting mission-critical environments with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration capabilities.
