The Storekeeper will be responsible for receiving, verifying, storing and issuing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring proper storage, traceability and safety within the stores area. Key Responsibilities

Receive, verify and document incoming raw materials, components and finished goods.
Check quantities, condition, identification and documents against POs, challans and invoices.
Coordinate with QC for inspection and approval before GRN preparation.
Properly label, store and segregate accepted, rejected and under-inspection materials.
Maintain accurate records of inward, outward, issues, returns and stock transfers.
Issue materials to departments against authorised requisitions and follow FIFO where applicable.
Maintain material traceability, stock levels and inventory records.
Conduct stock verification and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure proper storage, preservation, cleanliness and safety of the stores area.
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, QC and Accounts on material-related matters.

Requirements





2 3 years experience as a Storekeeper/Stores Assistant, preferably in engineering/manufacturing.
Knowledge of GRN, material requisitions, stock registers and inventory procedures.
Basic understanding of engineering materials/components.
Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/inventory software.
Ability to read POs, delivery challans and basic material specifications.
Organised, accurate and detail-oriented.
Candidates from Ambernath and nearby areas preferred.
