We are looking for a Node.JS Web Application Developer responsible for developing REST APIs. Primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Responsibilities
Developing Node.JS based backend applications
Delivering well written REST APIs: API Definitions, end-to-end service design and implementation
Writing good quality, modular, reusable, performant, well documented, unit-tested code

Mandatory Skills
Robust skills in Node.JS, with positive knowledge of Express Framework
Positive understanding of server-side templating languages (such as Jade or EJS)
Good Understanding of differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimising output to match the specific platform
Robust coding/programming application development experience
Excellent problem solving abilities. Very valuable HackerRank/HackerEarth score will be a plus




Good knowledge of working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
Professional, precise communication skills
Working knowledge of Git

Optional Skills
Knowledge of working with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
Knowledge of any ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries that works with NodeJS
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Knowledge of working with cloud environments such as AWS
Knowledge of DevOps tools practices
