Job Overview

We are seeking an Android platform developer to port and validate custom security enhancements from an older Android release to Android 15 (AOSP) across different hardware platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze existing custom security features implemented on legacy Android middleware and map them to equivalent hooks in Android 15.
Port and re-implement middleware-level security enhancements to the Android 15 framework, accounting for API changes, SELinux policy updates, and deprecated interfaces.
Adapt and validate the implementation across all four SoC platforms, coordinating with BSP/vendor HAL differences (Qualcomm vs. MediaTek).
Build, flash, and debug custom AOSP images.
Work with device trees, Android.bp/Android.mk, and vendor-specific build configurations.
Write and execute test cases to confirm feature parity and absence of security regression.
Support integration and field-validation cycles.
Document design decisions, porting deltas, and platform-specific caveats for client handover.
