We are looking for an experienced HVAC Designer to join our MEP fit-out team. The role involves HVAC system design, detailed drawings, and coordination for commercial interior and fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with standards, client requirements, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Design HVAC systems for commercial and interior fit-out projects (offices, retail, etc.)
Prepare HVAC layouts, schematics, ducting, piping, and equipment sizing
Perform heat load calculations and system selection
Develop detailed shop drawings and BOQs
Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and architectural teams
Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, IS codes, and local regulations
Support site teams with technical clarifications and design revisions
Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors
Assist in value engineering and cost optimization where required
Requirements & Qualifications:
Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent46 years of relevant experience in HVAC design for MEP fit-out projectsStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and standardsProficiency in AutoCAD is mustExperience in heat load calculation software (e.g., HAP or equivalent)Valuable understanding of site execution and coordinationStrong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience in commercial interior projectsFamiliarity with client/consultant coordinationAbility to handle multiple projects and tight timelines
