Job description

Lead Estimating area in preparing, developing, maintaining, and updating project capital cost
estimates, budgets, forecasts, and cash flows
Work with internal project stakeholders to gather all relevant information in order to prepare
accurate project estimates including Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Development,
Procurement, Origination, and other departments as needed
Develops tools to enhance estimation and budget tracking competencies and ability to produce
accurate estimates in a timely fashion
Challenge budget lineitems as needed with the objective of achieving the most optimized
estimates
Review and analyze existing work breakdown structures utilized in estimates and budgets for
optimization and improvements




Create and maintain unitcost database and published cost indices to prepare estimates
Prepare and price valueanalysis options and suggestions
Prepare comparison of current and previous estimates and actualized project costs
Develop and maintain intelligence regarding trends in cost of services, materials, and commodities
in the various regions in which the company operates
Creates and maintains project schedules and cash flows related to projects.
Creates and maintains project tracking tools and reports for senior management
Additional duties as required
