Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Haskell Expert role based in Noida. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Haskell-based applications and services, with a focus on robust, scalable, and high-performance functional solutions.

The Senior Haskell

Expert will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define technical architectures, review code, and ensure adherence to functional programming best practices. Daily responsibilities include writing clean and testable Haskell code, optimizing existing codebases, conducting code reviews, and mentoring team members on Haskell and functional design principles.



The role also requires active participation in technical discussions, contributing to internal tooling and frameworks, and helping drive continuous improvement in development processes and standards.

Qualifications - Strong expertise in Haskell and functional programming, including experience with type systems, monads, and common Haskell frameworks and libraries.

- Hands-on experience designing and building production-grade applications, including performance optimization, debugging, and refactoring complex codebases.
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Experience with backend development concepts including APIs, microservices, integration patterns, and working with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in functional and clean code development.
- Comfort working in agile or iterative development environments, collaborating with product, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with other functional or strongly typed languages (e.g., Scala, OCaml, F#, Rust) is a plus, as is exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
