Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Developer with 6–8 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing enterprise-grade API solutions using WSO2 API Management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, API-first environment and is passionate about building secure, scalable, and contemporary integration ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using WSO2 API Manager (v4+ or later).

- Lead API lifecycle activities: design, prototype, publish, monitor, and retire APIs.

- Configure and manage WSO2 API Gateway, Publisher, and Developer Portal.

- Implement API security policies including OAuth2, JWT, throttling, and CORS.

- Automate API deployment using CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab

- Monitor API performance using tools like AppDynamics & Splunk.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across distributed environments.

- Work on API-first integration designs, building secure, scalable APIs using REST/SOAP standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical designs.

- Guide junior developers and lead technical knowledge transfer sessions.

- Optimize existing integrations for performance, maintainability, and error handling.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and lead initiatives for continuous improvement.





- Interface with tools like ElasticSearch, Splunk for monitoring and logging integration behavior.

Required Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.

- 8+ years of experience in integration and API Management.

- Strong hands-on experience (4+ years) with WSO2 API Manager and related components.

- Proficiency in RESTful API design.

- Familiarity with API documentation tools like Stoplight.

- Solid understanding of API security, traffic management, and analytics.

- Experience with Git, Jenkins, BitBucket, JFrog.

Preferred Qualifications

- WSO2 certification (Developer or Integration Specialist) is a strong plus.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with event-driven architectures and microservices.

- Familiarity with Agile development practices and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
