Our platform processes large volumes of AI responses, web crawling data, analytics, integrations, and asynchronous workloads to provide actionable insights to companies around the world.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering team and help build and scale the backend systems powering Opttab.

The ideal candidate has strong experience developing production-grade B2B SaaS applications, understands scalable backend architecture, and is comfortable taking ownership of features from design through deployment.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend services for the Opttab platform
- Build scalable APIs, services, background jobs, and data processing workflows
- Design and implement REST APIs used by our frontend applications and integrations
- Develop backend functionality using TypeScript and NestJS
- Work with PostgreSQL and other data stores to design efficient and scalable data models
- Build and maintain queue-based and asynchronous processing systems
- Develop systems that process large volumes of AI responses, crawling data, and analytics workloads
- Integrate with third-party APIs, AI providers, marketing platforms, e-commerce platforms, and external services
- Implement authentication, authorization, workspace management, permissions, and multi-tenant SaaS functionality
- Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code
- Improve application performance, database queries, caching, and backend efficiency
- Identify and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and technical debt
- Build reliable error handling, retries, rate limiting, logging,



and monitoring
- Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, product teams, and technical leadership
- Participate in technical architecture and product development decisions
- Write unit, integration, and API tests
- Review code and contribute to engineering best practices
- Support CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and production operations
- Contribute to improving the security, reliability, and scalability of the Opttab platform
- Use AI-powered development tools effectively to improve engineering productivity

Qualifications

- 4+ years of professional backend software development experience
- Strong experience developing B2B SaaS or production web applications
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js
- Strong experience with NestJS, Express.js, or similar Node.js frameworks
- Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Good understanding of database design, indexing, query optimization, and transactions
- Experience with Redis or similar caching technologies
- Experience building background workers, scheduled jobs, queues, and asynchronous systems
- Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ, SQS, BullMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization systems
- Experience working with multi-tenant SaaS applications




- Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean-code principles
- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows
- Experience writing automated tests
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently take ownership of features from requirements to production
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
