Role Description The Senior Assurance Associate role at BDO RISE is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The individual in this role will perform assurance and audit procedures on financial statements, including planning, execution, and completion of engagements in accordance with qualified standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial data, reviewing accounting records, testing internal controls, documenting audit findings, and preparing working papers and reports.

Associate will collaborate with engagement teams, communicate regularly with supervisors and managers, and help train and mentor junior team members.
The role also involves contributing to process improvements, supporting quality reviews, and ensuring that client deliverables meet BDO’s service and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles relevant to assurance and audit engagements.
- Candidates should possess skills in analyzing Financial Statements and interpreting financial data for audit and reporting purposes.
- Candidates should possess Auditing expertise, including understanding audit methodologies, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to identify issues, evaluate risks, and propose practical solutions.
- Relevant professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred; a degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is required.
- Experience in external audit or assurance, ideally with a public accounting or professional services firm, is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines are expected.
- Comfort working with audit tools and financial systems, along with a commitment to ethical standards and continuous learning, is important.
