Key Responsibilities:
Execute timely repair of machines and equipment to minimize production downtime.
Allocate daily work and track breakdown status to ensure productive workflow.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the maintenance area at all times.
Ensure safety and discipline among workmen during maintenance operations.
Update maintenance documents and records in a timely and accurate manner.
Conduct preventive maintenance as per defined schedules and plans.
Monitor machine performance, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for breakdowns.
Prepare requisitions for purchase/repair orders and generate stores pick slips.
Report any non-conformities to the sectional head promptly.
Collect and document maintenance-related data and ensure proper shift handover.
Maintain safety standards for both equipment and personnel during maintenance activities.
Support and sustain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Environmental Management System (EMS) initiatives within the section.
