Role Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Subcontract Engineer to manage subcontracting activities, vendor coordination, and outsourced manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have solid technical knowledge, vendor management skills, and experience in a mechanical engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle all subcontracting activities for mechanical components and assemblies
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors/subcontractors
Coordinate with production and design teams for job outsourcing requirements
Review technical drawings and ensure vendor understanding and compliance
Monitor quality, cost, and timely delivery of subcontracted jobs




Resolve subcontractor issues and maintain smooth execution of orders
Maintain subcontracting records and generate MIS reports

Candidate Profile:
Education: BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 5–7 years in subcontracting or vendor management in machinery or related manufacturing industry
Skills:
Robust understanding of mechanical drawings and processes
Valuable negotiation and coordination skills
Familiarity with quality control standards and ERP systems
Ability to handle multiple vendors and meet deadlines
