5+ years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator
Solid understanding of SQL scripting and stored procedures
Knowledge of database monitoring and performance tuning tools
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Candidates with experience using Azure SQL Instances preferred.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Monitoring of database performance and stability
Establish the baseline for system performance, recognize deviation, and suggest and implement improvements to slow running queries
Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.
Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with the engineering team.
Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts.
Work under minimal direction and independently determine and develop approach to solutions.
