Role & responsibilities
Monitor application and infrastructure health, ensuring high availability and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
Automate operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
Manage system upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery activities.
Ensure compliance with security standards and operational best practices.
Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
Robust understanding of OSS/BSS architecture, components, and technologies ( provisioning, billing, CRM, Order Manager).
Preferred candidate profile
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Robust scripting skills in Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
Valuable understanding of networking concepts, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and SSL/TLS.
Knowledge of incident management, change management, and ITIL processes is preferred.
Knowledge of security best practices and vulnerability management.
