Job Description:

Position: Executive - Mould Maintenance

Location: Degam - Vapi

Experience: 2 - 4 Years

Industries: Plastic

Responsibilities:
Mould Maintenance & Repair
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection moulds.
Inspect mould components such as cores, cavities, sliders, ejector pins, guide pillars, and cooling channels.
Repair worn or damaged mould parts to maintain production quality.
Ensure moulds are properly cleaned and lubricated after production runs.
Mould Installation & Setup
Assist in mould mounting and dismounting on injection moulding machines.
Ensure correct alignment and fitting of moulds.
Coordinate with production team during mould trials and setup.
Preventive Maintenance
Implement scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) plans for moulds.
Maintain mould history records and maintenance logs.
Identify potential issues to avoid production downtime.
Quality Control
Check mould condition to ensure defect-free plastic parts.
Troubleshoot issues like:
Flash
Short shot
Sink marks
Warpage
Work closely with the quality and production departments.




Spare Parts & Tooling
Maintain inventory of mould spare parts and consumables.
Coordinate with tool room for manufacturing or repairing mould parts.
Ensure availability of critical components.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain mould maintenance records and checklists.
Prepare reports on mould performance, downtime, and repairs.
Update mould maintenance schedules.

Required Skills
Knowledge of plastic injection moulds and tooling
Understanding of mould components and mechanisms
Ability to troubleshoot mould defects
Basic knowledge of CNC /milling / grinding machines (preferred)
Positive coordination with production and tool room teams

Required Qualification: - ITI/Diploma - Mechanical/CIPET

Salary :- Upto 3.60 LPA
