Video Editor Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing high-quality video content for digital platforms, social media, marketing campaigns, and other multimedia projects. The Video Editor should have a robust understanding of storytelling, pacing, color correction, sound design, and current editing trends.

Key Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos.
Create videos for social media, YouTube, websites, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
Add graphics, transitions, captions, music, sound effects, and visual effects as needed.
Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and final quality checks.
Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to develop creative concepts.
Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
Organize and maintain video files and project assets.




Meet project deadlines while managing multiple editing assignments.
Stay updated on video editing techniques, software, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar editing software.
Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation is an advantage.
Robust understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings.
Excellent storytelling, creativity, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a quick-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience editing short-form content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and TikTok.
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Basic understanding of camera operation and lighting.
Experience with AI-powered editing tools is a plus.
