Job Description:
iPUMPNET is looking to engage a Pump Designer on a contract or on-call basis. This is an advisory engagement rather than a full-scale design role, called upon when design-related faults surface in existing pumping sets or when there is an prospect to improve performance through design changes.
Key Responsibilities:
Review existing designs to identify design-related faults in pumping sets. Recommend corrections or upgrades when performance issues trace back to a design limitation. Suggest improvements at either the overall pumping-system level or within the pump itself, as opportunities arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Solid design-level expertise in pump hydraulics, materials, and configuration. Ability to distinguish a genuine design flaw from an operational or maintenance-related issue. Comfortable working on a versatile, as-needed basis rather than a fixed schedule.
