Role & responsibilities :-
Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.
Monitor the health status of students, especially those with chronic conditions or recent illnesses.
Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality of student medical information.
Coordinate with local hospitals, clinics, and emergency services for referrals and emergencies.
Manage and maintain the college infirmary, including medical supplies and equipment.
Conduct regular health check-ups and wellness programs.
Educate students on hygiene, nutrition, and general health awareness.
Ensure implementation of proper infection control procedures.




Respond promptly to medical calls and be available during non-working hours for residential emergencies.
Assist during college medical camps, vaccination drives, and health awareness activities.

Clinical and emergency care skills
Empathy, patience, and excellent communication
Ability to work independently and handle medical situations calmly
Solid organizational and record-keeping abilities
Willingness to stay on campus full time
Diploma or Degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc. Nursing) from a recognized institute.
Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience (experience in a residential setting is preferred).
