Role Description The Sales Engineer role at STM Plastics is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore,Kerla, Bangalore, Hyderabad,Pune,Delhi.

The Sales

Engineer will engage with existing and prospective customers to understand technical and commercial requirements, present suitable plastic injection moulding solutions, and support the sales cycle from inquiry to order closure. Daily responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing techno-commercial proposals, coordinating with engineering and production teams, and providing technical guidance to customers on machine capabilities and application fit.



The role also involves responding to customer queries, supporting pre- and post-sales technical discussions, visiting customer sites as needed, and maintaining accurate records of opportunities, forecasts, and market feedback.

The Sales

Engineer is expected to build strong customer relationships, represent STM Plastics at industry events, and contribute to revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Sales Engineering and Technical Support for capital equipment or industrial machinery.
- Candidates should possess effective Sales skills, including opportunity identification, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust and manage long-term relationships.
- Candidates should possess a solid technical foundation, ideally with a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, or related engineering disciplines.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with plastic injection moulding processes, industrial automation, or manufacturing operations.
- Candidates should possess the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and machine parameters.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using CRM or sales tracking tools, MS Office, and preparing transparent techno-commercial proposals.
- Candidates should possess a willingness to travel to customer sites, along with strong problem-solving, time management, and teamwork capabilities.
