Safety & Security Officer

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Fire & Safety, Disaster Management, Law, Management, Public Administration, or a related field. Relevant diplomas and certifications in Fire Safety, First Aid, Emergency Response, or Occupational Safety will be an advantage.

Experience:

Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in safety, security, emergency management, loss prevention, or institutional/corporate security operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage overall campus safety, security, and emergency preparedness.
- Supervise security personnel, shifts, access control, and security agencies.
- Monitor CCTV, alarms, visitor management, and other security systems.
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, audits, and emergency drills.
- Ensure fire & life safety, emergency response, evacuation, and disaster preparedness.
- Investigate incidents, accidents,



security breaches, and prepare reports.
- Coordinate with police, fire services, hospitals, government authorities, and external agencies.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance related to safety and security.
- Develop safety awareness and training programs for students, faculty, and staff.
- Support security arrangements for events, hostels, VIP visits, and large gatherings.
- Prepare MIS reports, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
