Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Robot Operator / CNC Operator to operate CNC machines and robotic systems safely and efficiently. The candidate will be responsible for machine operation, component inspection, basic troubleshooting, and maintaining production quality and targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines and robotic systems as per standard operating procedures.
- Load and unload components/parts correctly into the machine.
- Set machine parameters, offsets, and tooling as per approved process instructions.
- Monitor machine operation and identify abnormalities during production.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspection using measuring instruments.
- Check dimensions as per engineering drawings and inspection standards.
- Maintain production, rejection, and inspection records.
- Identify and report machine or process abnormalities to the Supervisor/Engineer.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and tool/insert replacement as required.
- Ensure proper handling and identification of raw materials and finished components.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining required quality standards.
- Follow all safety procedures while operating CNC machines and robots.
- Ensure compliance with company Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Policies.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related technical field.
4-5 years of experience as a CNC Operator/Robot Operator in an automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualification may also be considered.
