Role Description The RFID Production Engineer is a full time hybrid role based in Indore, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks as approved. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring RFID label production, ensuring that processes meet quality, performance, and safety standards. Day-to-day activities include configuring and maintaining RFID printing and encoding equipment, supervising production runs, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing workflows for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The engineer collaborates with design, quality, and operations teams to integrate RFID technology into various label substrates and special-effect finishes,



while maintaining compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. The role also involves documenting processes, analyzing production data, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and training production staff on RFID-related procedures.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in RFID technology, including RFID tag selection, encoding, testing, and integration with label printing processes.
- Candidates should possess production engineering and manufacturing skills, such as process optimization, equipment setup, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of printing and converting machinery.
- Candidates should possess quality assurance and control skills, including knowledge of inspection methods, defect analysis, root-cause investigation, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess skills in data analysis and documentation, including the ability to interpret production metrics, create reports, maintain process documentation, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Candidates should possess collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams, coordinate with clients or vendors, and clearly convey technical information.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with label substrates (e.g., paper, PE, PP, PET, clear films) and printing technologies (UV, flexographic, digital) or be willing to learn these quickly.
