We are looking for a confident and guest-focused Captain to join our team for a concept bar & restaurant at Balewadi Highstreet, Pune. The candidate should have strong experience in restaurant and bar service, table handling, guest interaction, order taking, upselling, billing coordination, and team support during busy service hours.

The ideal candidate should be presentable, disciplined, energetic, and capable of managing a section independently while maintaining high service standards and a smooth guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome guests and ensure proper seating, table setup, and service flow.
- Handle assigned tables/sections during lunch, dinner, and evening bar service.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and coordinate with kitchen and bar teams.
- Explain menu items, cocktails, mocktails, liquor options, offers, and promotions to guests.
- Upsell food, beverages, premium liquor, bottles, cocktails, and specials.
- Supervise stewards/runners in the assigned section and ensure timely service.
- Maintain table cleanliness, cutlery, crockery, glassware, and service station readiness.
- Handle basic guest complaints politely and escalate reliable issues to the Restaurant Manager.
- Coordinate billing, KOT/BOT punching, order modifications, voids, and settlement support.
- Ensure grooming, hygiene, service standards, and restaurant SOPs are followed.
- Support smooth operations during weekends, events, live nights, and high-footfall evenings.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, stock checks, breakage reporting,



and daily handover.

Candidate Requirements:

- Prior experience as Captain, Senior Steward, Floor Supervisor, or Service Associate in a restaurant, bar, lounge, hotel, or premium F&B; outlet.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Basic understanding of liquor service, cocktails, mocktails, bottle service, and bar operations preferred.
- Strong guest-handling, communication, upselling, and team coordination skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced bar and restaurant environment.
- Should be presentable, polite, disciplined, punctual, and service-oriented.
- Basic POS/KOT/BOT/billing knowledge will be preferred.
- Willing to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and late-night bar operations.
- Candidate should be currently located in or willing to travel/relocate to Balewadi Highstreet, Pune.

Qualification: Minimum 12th pass.

Hotel management or hospitality background will be preferred but is not mandatory.
