Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Java Architect to design and lead the development of enterprise-scale telecom applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java, OpenCloud Rhino, JAIN SLEE, and telecom charging platforms, with a proven track record of architecting highly scalable, secure, and high availability systems. This role demands solid technical leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust telecom solutions.

Key Responsibility Areas :

1. Solution Architecture :

- Define and own the end-to-end architecture for enterprise telecom applications, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Design robust backend solutions using Java while driving architecture decisions, technology selection, and implementation standards across multiple projects.
- Review solution designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and industry best practices.

2. Technical Leadership :

- Provide technical leadership to multiple development teams by mentoring Leads and Senior Developers, conducting architecture and code reviews, and establishing engineering best practices.
- Drive design discussions, resolve technical challenges, and ensure adherence to coding standards, software quality, and delivery excellence.

3. Telecom & Charging Architecture :

- Architect and implement telecom solutions for convergent and online charging, prepaid call control, subscriber account management, rating, and CDR processing.
- Design applications using OpenCloud Rhino and JAIN SLEE, with expertise in telecom protocols such as SIP, Diameter, SS7 (CAPv2 and MAP), and IMS.
- Lead integrations with SAP Convergent Charging and other telecom platforms to enable real-time charging and billing capabilities.





4. System Integration :

- Design enterprise integration solutions and RESTful APIs to seamlessly connect CRM, billing systems, IVR platforms, and external telecom applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure system integrations across distributed environments.

5. Platform, Operations & Performance :

- Architect applications optimized for Oracle databases, SQL, and Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) environments, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Define build, deployment, and release strategies using Maven, Git, and JIRA, while supporting CI/CD initiatives and engineering governance.
- Lead production readiness reviews, capacity planning, performance optimization, and provide guidance for complex L3 production support, maintenance windows, and critical incident resolution.

6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement :

- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies that enhance platform capabilities, including Dialogic PowerMedia XMS, Huawei IMS, WebRTC, Zabbix, Chef, Ansible, Robot Framework, JMeter, Jasper Reports, and CRM integration platforms such as vTiger/PHP, wherever applicable.
- Drive modernization initiatives and recommend architectural improvements to enhance system scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency.

7. Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, clients, product owners, and project managers to understand business objectives and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Present architecture proposals, technology roadmaps, and solution recommendations to senior leadership while providing technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Educational Qualification :

- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related engineering discipline is required.
