Key Areas

- Preparing, negotiating, and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts
- Preparing and reviewing tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, progress claims, and payment certificates
- Liaising with the client and other construction professionals, such as project managers, engineers, and consultants
- Handling monthly progress bills from measuring the work through receipt of payment




- Advising on a range of legal, contractual, and sensitive issues
- Ensuring that all operations are carried out to control costs, maximize value, minimize future liabilities, and maintain the required standard of quality
- Providing reports on actual costs vs. estimates, identifying the underlying reasons for any variance, and highlighting, challenging, and resolving variances against the latest plans
- Providing general forecasting and estimating, and performing budgetary controls.

Key Requirements (Qualifications & Skills)

- B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in MEP construction is mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of cost control activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- The selected candidate will be required to work at our project site in the Maldives.
