About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to join Uppteam as a Design and Construction Drawings Quality Control Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and coordination of architectural and engineering drawings. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining the integrity of design documents, identifying discrepancies, and facilitating seamless interdisciplinary collaboration.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction documentation, quality assurance processes, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. Qualifications

- A degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.




- Proven experience in reviewing construction drawings, conducting quality control checks, and coordinating interdisciplinary design efforts.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM software, and other relevant design and analysis tools.
- Solid attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of construction standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

- Thoroughly review architectural, structural, MEPF, and other engineering drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards.
- Identify and rectify missed elements, inconsistencies, or discrepancies within design documents to prevent potential conflicts during construction.
- Utilize comprehensive QC checklists to verify that all necessary design components are included and meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of all disciplines in the drawings.
- Employ overlay techniques and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools for clash detection, coordination,



and resolution of design conflicts.
- Maintain detailed records of review findings, revisions, and quality control reports for project documentation and audit purposes.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement corrective actions and improvements based on review outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and quality assurance.
