Role Overview
CureMeAbroad is looking for an HR Associate with 2–3 years of experience to manage the complete employee lifecycle and support the company’s growing people function. This is a hands-on generalist role covering recruitment, HR operations, employee relations, payroll coordination, performance management, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end recruitment across functions
• Manage onboarding, documentation, attendance, leave, and employee records
• Coordinate payroll, incentives, reimbursements, and Full & Final settlements
• Handle employee queries, grievances, and workplace concerns
• Support performance reviews, PIPs, and disciplinary processes
• Draft, implement, and maintain HR policies and processes
• Manage HR compliance, including POSH and statutory requirements
• Maintain HR trackers, reports, and employee data
• Drive employee engagement and help build a strong workplace culture
• Work closely with founders and managers on people-related matters
What We're Looking For
• 2–3 years of experience in HR, preferably as an HR Generalist / HR Associate
• Robust understanding of end-to-end HR functions
• Hands-on recruitment and employee management experience
• Good knowledge of payroll, HR operations, and compliance
• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable handling sensitive employee matters with discretion
• High ownership and ability to work independently
• Startup experience is strongly preferred
Good to Have
• Experience with HRMS, ATS, and payroll tools
• Experience with POSH/Internal Committee processes
• Experience building HR processes in a growing startup
• Exposure to labour laws and statutory compliance
