Administer and support IBM i (AS/400) systems to ensure high availability and performance. Monitor storage utilization and perform capacity planning and storage allocation. Perform backup, recovery, and restore operations using BRMS and enterprise backup solutions. Install and apply PTFs, perform system upgrades,



and execute IPL activities. Monitor system health, analyze performance and implement performance tuning recommendations. Troubleshoot hardware, storage, operating system and application-related issues. Manage user profiles, system security and access permissions. Support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments and participate in DR testing. Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive actions. Handle incident, problem, and change management activities in accordance with ITIL processes. Work with infrastructure, storage, network, and application teams to resolve complex technical issues. Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and support knowledge base articles. Provide 24×7 production support and participate in on-call rotations as required.
