QA / Software Testing Intern
Location: Remote
Duration: 3-6 months

Medsnap is building healthcare software used by doctors and clinics across India.
Our platform helps clinics manage appointments, patient records, prescriptions, billing, medical reports, and other day-to-day workflows.
We believe that healthcare products must be reliable, simple, and thoroughly tested. As a QA / Software Testing Intern, you will work closely with the product and engineering teams to identify issues before new features reach doctors and patients.
What You Will Work On
- Test new features before release
- Test the MedSnap application across desktop, mobile, and tablet views
- Identify, reproduce, and clearly document software bugs
- Write structured bug reports with screenshots and screen recordings
- Perform functional, usability, compatibility, and regression testing
- Test complete user journeys from start to finish
- Verify bug fixes and confirm whether issues have been properly resolved
- Test the application across different browsers, including Chrome and Safari
- Validate responsive design and UI consistency across screen sizes
- Check form validations, error messages, loading states, and edge cases
- Test role-based workflows for doctors, clinic staff, administrators, and patients
- Maintain test cases, bug trackers, and testing documentation
- Flag usability problems and suggest product improvements
- Work with developers to explain, reproduce, and retest issues
- Support testing during production releases

Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Nice to Have
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC concepts
- Previous manual software testing experience
- Experience using Jira, Trello, Linear, ClickUp, or similar tools
- API testing experience using Postman
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with browser DevTools
- Understanding of HTTP requests, APIs, status codes, and network errors
- Exposure to automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Experience testing responsive websites
- Familiarity with Git or GitHub
- Basic knowledge of accessibility testing
