Qualification: B.Tech / Graduate Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering About the Role We are looking for an experienced Manager – Purchase to manage end-to-end procurement activities and ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment and services required for our plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete purchase and procurement cycle for plant and operational requirements.
- Source, evaluate and develop reliable vendors/suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
- Ensure timely procurement while maintaining optimum cost and quality.
- Have robust knowledge of refrigeration plant and related equipment/components.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, technical specifications, deliveries and service requirements.
- Maintain strong and sustainable supplier relationships.
- Coordinate closely with Finance, Logistics, Operations and Plant teams for procurement planning and execution.




- Ensure purchase activities comply with company policies, approved budgets and applicable regulations.
- Monitor vendor performance, purchase orders, pending deliveries and material availability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sources for critical requirements.
- Handle procurement documentation, records and MIS/reporting as required.

Candidate Profile

- 12–15 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing industry.
- Strong hands-on experience in plant procurement and vendor management.
- In-depth knowledge of refrigeration plant, machinery and related components is essential.
- Strong negotiation, supplier development and commercial skills.
- Good understanding of purchase processes, inventory requirements and supply chain coordination.
- Strong communication, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Candidates from a plant procurement background will be preferred.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
