Role Description The Production Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Deoghar Tehsil. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising daily production activities to meet output, quality, and safety targets.

The Production

Manager coordinates with procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure availability of materials, optimal machine performance, and adherence to production schedules. Key tasks include monitoring production metrics, resolving operational issues on the shop floor, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Manager will also lead and mentor production staff, manage shift allocations, and support training initiatives to improve team performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in production or manufacturing management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Strong skills in people management, including team supervision, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to analyze production data, monitor key performance indicators, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Solid understanding of quality control processes, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures in an industrial workplace.
- Relevant academic background, such as a diploma or degree in engineering, production management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and familiarity with production or inventory management systems is an advantage.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Previous experience in a similar industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably in the region, is beneficial.
