? Role Overview
Chevron ENGINE is looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join the Process Engineering team in Bengaluru. Reporting to the Facilities Process Engineering Manager, the role will provide technical and operational engineering support across offshore and deepwater production facilities.
The position involves process troubleshooting, brownfield engineering support, risk assessments, operational optimization, and collaboration with global engineering and operations teams.
? Key Responsibilities
⚙️ Process Engineering Support
- Provide centralized process engineering support across multiple offshore and deepwater facilities
- Support operational risk mitigation and production optimization initiatives
- Respond to technical process engineering queries and challenges
? Troubleshooting & Technical Analysis
- Conduct process troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Provide technical recommendations based on:
- Data analysis
- Operational trends
- Field checks
- Support post-change performance monitoring and validation
?️ Engineering & Brownfield Support
- Support Management of Change (MOC) and small brownfield project scopes
- Develop technical basis and engineering documentation
- Perform:
- PFD/P&ID; markups
- Equipment sizing
- Datasheet preparation
- Safeguard and operating envelope reviews
?️ Risk & Compliance
- Participate in:
- HAZOP
- PHA
- Risk assessments
- Drive closure of audit, incident, and HAZOP action items
- Maintain audit-ready technical documentation
? Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Offshore Operations teams
- Reliability teams
- Onshore engineering teams
- Vendors and contractors
- Align priorities and resolve technical issues efficiently
? Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized AICTE-approved university
- Minimum 5 years of process engineering experience supporting:
- Upstream operations
- Offshore facilities engineering
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- 5–10 years of relevant industry experience
- Robust knowledge of:
- Gas compression systems
- Produced water treatment
- Crude dehydration systems
- Experience with deepwater facilities will be highly preferred

- Technical documentation and engineering reviews

⏰ Working Hours
Standard working hours:
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM OR
- 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM
(Monday to Friday; subject to business requirements)
