Role Description The Primary Teacher of English will be responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate English lessons that build foundational reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills for primary-grade students. Day-to-day tasks include creating lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum and philosophy, using engaging teaching methods, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will manage classroom activities, maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, and collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support academic and holistic development.





Additional responsibilities include communicating with parents or guardians about student progress, participating in school events and co-curricular activities, and contributing to initiatives that promote values-based and community-oriented education. This is a full-time, in office role located in Baghpat.

Qualifications

- Strong English language proficiency, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and written expression.
- Demonstrated ability to teach primary-level students using engaging, age-appropriate methods and instructional materials.
- Classroom management skills, including the ability to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with students, colleagues, and parents or guardians.
- Understanding of child development and pedagogical practices relevant to early and primary education.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field; a teaching certification or diploma in primary education is an advantage.
- Experience teaching English at the primary level, preferably in a school environment that emphasizes holistic and values-based education.
- Commitment to fostering creativity, critical thinking, social awareness, and responsible citizenship among students.
- Ability to use basic educational technology and teaching aids to support interactive and engaging learning.
