Position: POS TP.NET Leader

Skills and Qualifications

- 3+ years of IT support experience.
- 2+ years supporting retail POS systems.
- 2+ years supporting Diebold Nixdorf TP.NET.
- Experience with payment processing environments.
- Experience supporting store hardware and peripherals.
- Experience Understanding of retail POS architecture and transaction flows.
- Networking TCP/IP fundamentals.
- Database Knowledge Basic SQL querying.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, Networking (Data) Fundamentals, and ServiceNow.
- Strong customer management and effective communication skills.
- Experience with Diebold Nixdorf TP.NET and Point of Sale systems.

Activities to perform:

- Investigate and resolve POS incidents escalated from Service Desk.
- Troubleshoot POS application issues within TP.NET environments.
- Analyze transaction failures and payment processing issues.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents.




- Escalate complex issues to Level 2/Level 3 support teams when required.
- Monitor incident queues and ensure SLA compliance.
- Support payment gateway integrations such as Planet and other payment processors.
- Troubleshoot credit card, debit card, contactless, and mobile payment issues.
- Investigate authorization failures, settlement issues, and transaction discrepancies.
- Coordinate with payment providers and vendors during outages or payment incidents.

Peripheral Device Support

- Support and troubleshoot:
- Receipt printers
- Barcode scanners
- Cash drawers
- Customer displays
- Payment terminals (PIN Pads)
- Scales and weighing devices
- Diagnose hardware connectivity and driver-related issues.
- Assist store personnel with POS operational issues.
- Support store openings, upgrades, and deployments.
- Validate POS functionality after software releases and infrastructure changes.
