Role Description The Planning & Cost Control Engineer will support project planning, scheduling, and cost management activities across EPC and industrial service projects. This full-time hybrid role is based in Kochi, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and updating project schedules, monitoring progress, preparing cost estimates and budgets, and tracking actual costs against forecasts.

The role involves preparing cost and progress reports, analyzing variances,



supporting project controls, and coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The engineer will also contribute to improving project control processes and ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong cost-focused skills, including Cost Control and Cost Management, with the ability to develop budgets and monitor project expenditures.
- Proficiency in Project Control and Cost Reporting, including the preparation of regular cost and progress reports for internal and client stakeholders.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting project data, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, or related field) or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Experience in EPC, construction, or industrial projects, preferably in oil and gas, petrochemical, or related sectors.
- Familiarity with project planning and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and standard project management methodologies.
- Solid understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial controls in a project environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and a hybrid work arrangement.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
