Position- Planning

Experience 5–8 Years

Job Purpose To develop, monitor, and control project schedules, track progress, identify delays, prepare recovery plans, and support project teams in achieving project milestones within the planned timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

Prepare baseline project schedules using MS Project.

Develop detailed construction schedules including engineering, procurement, and execution activities.

Prepare WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and coding structure.

Define project milestones and critical paths.

Develop look-ahead schedules (2-week, 4-week, and monthly).

Project Monitoring & Control

Monitor project progress against approved schedules.

Update project schedules based on site progress.

Analyse schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.

Identify delays, bottlenecks, and risks affecting project timelines.

Prepare recovery schedules and acceleration plans.

Progress Reporting

Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports.

Generate S-Curves, Progress Dashboards, and KPI reports.

Track Planned vs Actual progress.

Present schedule status to project management and clients.

Resource Planning

Prepare manpower histograms.

Plan equipment deployment.

Monitor productivity trends.

Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.

Coordination

Coordinate with Construction, MEP, QA/QC, Procurement, Contracts, and Design teams.

Participate in weekly planning meetings.

Track engineering approvals and procurement status.

Ensure inter-departmental schedule alignment.

Project Controls

Monitor project milestones.

Track float consumption.

Maintain project calendars and baselines.





Delay Analysis

Identify critical delays.

Prepare Time Impact Analysis (TIA).

Maintain planning records.

Update project schedules regularly.

Archive revisions and baseline approvals.
