## Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) of Chemistry to join our CBSE school's senior secondary division. The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree in Chemistry, a B.Ed. qualification, and excellent communication skills. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role is preferred.

## Responsibilities

- Teach Chemistry following the CBSE curriculum to senior secondary students.
- Prepare detailed lesson plans, notes, and study materials to ensure effective teaching and learning.
- Evaluate student performance through regular assessments, quizzes, and exams.
- Create and distribute study materials, such as notes, worksheets, and question banks, to support student learning.
- Provide counselling and guidance to students on academic, personal, and career-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and grades.
- Prepare and present reports on student performance, progress, and other academic matters.
- Attend departmental meetings, staff meetings, and school events as required.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Chemistry and education by attending workshops, conferences, and training programs.
- Supervise student activities, such as projects, presentations, and events, related to Chemistry.
- Contribute to the development and revision of the Chemistry curriculum to ensure it meets CBSE standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues from other departments to promote interdisciplinary learning and projects.
- Stay informed about current educational trends,



research, and best practices through professional development activities.

- Expertise in teaching Chemistry to senior secondary students, with the ability to design engaging lesson plans and assessments.
