Role Description The Paint Shop Production Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This position is responsible for overseeing daily paint shop operations, including monitoring production lines, coordinating material flow, and ensuring adherence to process parameters and safety standards. The role involves planning and scheduling paint shop activities, optimizing resources, and working closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

The engineer will conduct regular quality checks on painted components, troubleshoot process issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.



Daily tasks also include maintaining documentation, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to meet delivery and quality targets.

Qualifications

- Strong Production Engineering knowledge, with experience in paint shop or surface treatment processes.
- Proficiency in Production Planning and workflow optimization to meet output, cost, and lead-time goals.
- Solid Analytical Skills for root cause analysis, process troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
- Experience in Quality Control, including inspection methods, defect analysis, and standards compliance.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, and management teams.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, 5S, and lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and handle shift-based responsibilities as required.
