We are looking for an Oracle ERP Consultant with 8 - 12 years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud Budgetary Control and Encumbrance Accounting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of budget controls, funds reservation, encumbrance processes, and integration with Oracle Cloud Financials.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure Oracle Cloud Budgetary Control, including control budgets, budgetary levels, tolerances, and validation rules.
- Configure and support Encumbrance Accounting for requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and related transactions.
- Define and manage funds-check and funds-reservation processes across Procurement and Payables.
- Configure and support budget imports, budget adjustments, transfers, and carry-forward processes.
- Integrate Budgetary Control with General Ledger, Procurement, Payables, and Projects.
- Analyze and resolve funds-check failures, accounting issues, and budget control exceptions.
- Gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and prepare functional design and configuration documents.
- Support SIT, UAT, deployment, and production support activities.




- Work with business and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver enhancements.
- Ensure appropriate budgetary controls and accounting processes are aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills &

Experience :

- 8 - 11 years of experience in Oracle ERP / Oracle Cloud Financials.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Budgetary Control.
- Strong expertise in Encumbrance Accounting and the complete encumbrance lifecycle.
- Deep understanding of control budgets, funds checking, funds reservation, tolerances, and budgetary controls.
- Valuable knowledge of Oracle Cloud GL, Payables, Procurement, and Projects.
- Experience with budget loading, adjustments, transfers, carry-forward, and reporting.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, particularly around funds-check and accounting issues.
- Experience with requirements gathering, configuration, testing, UAT, and production support.

Positive to Have :

- Oracle Cloud Financials certification.
- Experience working with public-sector or government financial systems.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud integrations and reporting tools.
